This was an amazing rental for my wife and I. The location is right on Kam-2 beach and you can enjou the sights and sounds of th ocean all day long if you are home. The property was cery clean with all the appliances you would normally need. There were enough towels for use in the house as well as many beach towels and other beach gear like chairs, umbrellas, coolers etc. One of us was vacationing while the other had to work for a few days. This 2 bedroom apartment made it very easy given that the second bedroom has a standing workdesk and a monitor. We also spent a lot of time working from the table in the balcony due to the amazing views. Very rarely does the place of stay become a favourite aspect of the trip but in this case it was. We were very happy to choose it and may even do it again if we decide to visit Kihei again.

We had nine great days in this apartment. Above all, we will remember the beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment is superbly equipped for a seaside vacation (umbrellas, coolers, chairs, etc.). However, it is out of date. The bathrooms in particular could use a renovation. We also had problems with the air conditioning at first. However, these were fixed immediately. Someone was available to talk to right away. The location was very good. We always walked to Kihei (about 20-25 minutes); of course, it takes two minutes by car. Overall a good place to stay.

Overall the condo was nice, however there were several bugs and the condo is very dated and small. It was a convenient location. The property sites within an HOA and the property manager who mind you is different than the manager of this condo. The property manager was extremely rude. She began by stating there were property rules on the first day greeting us as we parked. Now this was unknown to us. I asked her for a copy of the rules which she ignored my request. Two days later she advised me that someone reported I had spit off the front entrance of the condo. Again, I asked for the rules and again she ignored my request. This time stated she made our property manager aware of the problem. I expressed our concerns regarding kids knocking on our door and running, she again ignored our problems. The kids running after knocking became such a problem we had to contact 911. We dealt with Officer Beretta and he gave us a police report number 26012992. The last night in our stay, they did catch one of the guys, it is unknown to us what took place between the police department and him. Now our property manager of the condo we did make aware that there were several bugs and responded sending someone that day to bring us bug spray and some light which plugs in to attract insects. This did work some but we were overwhelmed with the amount. We had to constantly spray and kill bugs getting in our beds, on counters and bathroom vanities, this was disgusting.

We're a family of six and we were very happy with our stay. The place was immaculate, hotel quality cleanliness. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The location is excellent, right next to a quite private beach. Lots of restaurants for both coffee, breakfast and dinner within a short walk.

The view was incredible and so close to the ocean. On calm days there was snorkeling right outside your door with fish and TURTLES! On windy days the waves were boogy board fun size. A really nice group of people from the condo would gather at sunset on the lawn to watch the sun slip behind the horizon with a conch salut. It was truly memorable.

Paradise! Beautiful views, easy access to beach, pool, lawn for tanning, even throwing away trash. So much convenience and beauty and the BEST part is having A/C! Also, falling asleep every night with closed doors, fan and A/C on while STILL hearing the ocean waves….swoon!!! So many amenities of home too- toaster, cooking supplies, coffee and tea maker, etc. Chairs provided for beach, coolers, great balcony for outdoor dining. Having a grab bar in the shower with easy walk in access was amazing for my mobility impaired mom too. Totally worth the high cost! You won't be disappointed!

Had a wonderful stay with my family, it was such a treat to wake up to the ocean and there were visible turtles in the water right in front of our building which was amazing! Loved having just a quick walk down to the ocean and so convenient for parking and with convenient stores near by! We also got great visibility of the moon and sunsets it was such a dream thank you! Also really appreciated having beach chairs and umbrellas etc available :)

Condo was easy to locate, within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and steps from the beach. Fell asleep nightly to the sound of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked - especially for being smaller. The bedrooms were spacious and the host had thought of everything to have available - even starter toiletries. The single brew of the coffee maker does not accommodate Kcups so get ground coffee. This wasn't an issue for us - just worth noting to plan your grocery run. Our family of 4 found the space comfortable, centrally located to a lot of what we wanted to do on the island, clean, and containing everything we needed. The views from the balcony were our favorite part!

The condo was great. Short walk to shops, restaurants, beaches and grocery stores. Balcony has a beautiful view!Unfortunately, we were locked out when we came back from grocery stores one day, and it took a while to let us in. Another issue we had was that the toilet seat was broken when checked in, and it was hard to use for our first couple days. A few plumbers came to try to fix it, but it took a few days. The plumbers and communication with property management were good, but we could not relax while they came in and worked Overall, the unit had everything, and it was very nice.

Loved the views from this unit, especially the balcony. Afternoon and early evening noise from the pool was a bit of a bummer - lots of kids and families playing - FYI. There wasn't any cleaning products so we had to ask for that. We could not get the guest overhead fan to work, but there was a floor fan. AC kept unit nice and cool when we needed it. Loved having plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers to borrow. Unit needs a serrated knife! Great location with lots of food/shopping options within walking distance.

The view is a 1000 out of 10. The condo itself is more dated then pictures reveal - it does the job but bathrooms are small and very dated - we had 5 people and I wouldn't do anymore than that. Outside is gorgeous but slightly dated - very amazing and convenient beach access - gorgeous sunsets!

Incredible breathtaking views, we have been consistently going to Kihei (Maui) yearly for about 9 years now and all I've got to say is this Condo takes the cake. Upon arrival we found everything clean. As a parent, I tend to always worry about the balcony and my 3 year old being there, the balcony at this condo is safe, my 3 year old had tons of fun. The owner/host are very attentive. Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back soon!

Our family of 5, four adults and one teen, spent a GLORIOUS week at this condo in Maui. We loved every single thing about the accommodations, but the shining star was certainly the location. Less than one minute and you are toes in the sand! Other things to note: very comfortable beds, plenty of towels (both beach and bed), very well stocked kitchen, beach must-haves like chairs and even a couple coolers, books, games, the list goes on and on! It's clean, organized and just perfect. We will 100% stay here again!

Kamaole Nalu 305 was simply wonderful! Our group of 4 had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay overlooking a sweeping view of the ocean, directly about Kamaole beach. The pictures cannot do it justice, I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kihei. It is easily accessible to most parts of the island, with many restaurants and bars near by, there is no better place to spend your vacation :)

I can't say enough good things about this place. The room was clean and had all the amenities you would need. The grounds of the property were pristine. The views and the sunsets we watched from our balcony and around the property were something we will never forget. Close access to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants across the street or short walking distance. We had 5 people stay in the room that ranged in age from 10 to 66. All 5 of us loved every minute of it and it was very easy to get around the property and the beach access. It was a perfect stay in paradise.

As we are now retired we stay at least 30 days a year and sorry we didn't stay longer this time. Loved the unit!! Condo was wonderfully upgraded , clean and we would've rebooked for next year had the rates not gone up exponentially! Also the unit was booked mid month for just a few days next April which would really mess up a long term monthly rental! Having a couple longer term is less wear and tear on the unit as opposed to seeing 7 people at a time in the unit a few days here and there which is what we are seeing with the increased rates at Nalu! You really don't need to use the AC as the trades keep the unit cool so not needed at this time of the year. ! As I love to cook but this unit did lack a few things I needed such as serving trays and bowls ( only 1 ceramic in unit) , 4 salad forks , baking dishes I bought and will store in our storage unit for our stay next year next door at RM. This unit needs new lanai furniture as table is too high for the chairs of which some you can not sit on as they are separating at the back! The rates for monthly rentals here at Nalu have jumped up compared to the other two condo units to the left and right of Nalu. I really loved this unit and treated it as home for a month with respect but with the increased rate sadly we won't return .

Views were breathtaking. Sunrise and sunset from the lanai. Super convenient location in Kihei and We loved being on the beach and not having to cross the road. Downsides were the pool was a bit small (lacked much of a shallow end) and cold for young children to play/swim and the living space is a bit small indoors.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this condo. The view of the ocean & beach was spectacular. We were 2 couples and this place was perfect. We each had our own en-suite bath and controlled our own bedroom A/C units. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was fully equipped with every gadget & appliance. We used the BBQ almost every night and never had to wait. We enjoyed our meals on the balcony that has a big table and 6 chairs. There were lots of beach chairs however we did purchase an umbrella that we left for the next guests. We spent most of our time on the beautiful Kamaole 2 beach which is steps away. We saw many turtles from the lawn and snorkeling. We enjoyed many sunsets from the perfectly manicured lawn where there was plenty of tables & chairs. On windy afternoons, we spent time in the pool which was also very well maintained. There are many shops & restaurants across the street.

As a family of 4 with 2 university aged kids the layout of this condo was perfect for us. The condo is located on Kam II beach and we loved this beach - one of the best on Maui. Also of note was the lanai with 3 open sides and unobstructed views of the pool, beach, and ocean. We spent a lot of time there. We would recommend this condo and would look to return here on our next trip to Kihei.

Check in was super easy, and any communication I had with management their response was pretty much immediate. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the unit had everything we needed from cooking in the kitchen to going to the beach. The beds were comfortable, and the AC cranked so well it was almost too cold. The beach was never too crowded, and we snorkeled every morning in front of the condos; it does get very windy in the middle of the day, so the best time for snorkeling for us was 7-10am, but good for using the boogie boards later. We used the nice community BBQ and pool one day, and watched the sunset from the lawn on the chaise lounges. The location was walkable to some shops and dining. There's nothing we felt was lacking during our stay. We will definitely book here again next time we come to Maui. Mahalo!!!

You can't beat this location for the view from the lanai, swimming, great snorkling with turtles, paddleboarding (rental shop across the street), restaurants/store. Our group of 5 was very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the condo. Requests for minor maintenance were addressed promptly.

Fantastic location. Kam 3 is excellent for swimming and snorkeling. Saw turtles from the balcony. Unit is clean with some ants, which is understandable given climate. Parking is a little tight with majority of the spots in the lot being for compact cars. Property manager was very responsive to communications but did take a little time to fix issues (e.g., when the keypad stopped working, they responded to our text within 10 minutes, but the maintenance person didn't show up until 18 hours later). All in all this was a great stay.

We enjoyed ourselves at this location. Coffee, breakfast lunch and dinner were all just across the street. The condo building and unit were clean and well maintained. The view was really spectacular. The beach outside was also amazing with a small cove that was great for snorkeling, paddle boarding and safe for the kids.

Awesome location & beautiful views! Unit came with everything needed to comfortably lounge on the beach (chairs, umbrella, towels) which was just steps away. Stores and restaurants are conveniently located across the street - and communication leading up to check-in and throughout the stay was timely.

It was very difficult to find the perfect location at a decent price. I did a TON of research before deciding to stay here. I can honestly say that this location and condo made the trip! The pool and short path to the beach was right below our deck and no one was ever there- so my kids or my husband and I can go off on our own and still be in sight. The beach was stunning! It was sandy and an amazing place to swim, or boogie board. 4 turtles same right up to the beach and it was an incredible site. This condo was also right across the street from great places to eat- getting Acai bowls and walking to lots of options for lunch and dinner too. I will stay here everytime! Kihei is the location you want to get the serene landscape and fun all rolled in one! and this is the condo to rent!

This unit checked all of our boxes and then some. It had 1) easy access to a gorgeous, swimmable beach; 2) a pool; 3) two bedrooms; and 4) all the beach gear we could need. It was our first trip to Maui and I was pleasantly surprised by how low-key Kihei is in this spot. There are great casual dining options just across the street, and the bigger grocery store is only a mile up the road. The unit's kitchen is outfitted with everything you need. Also, the view is unbeatable. Is this the "fanciest" place I've ever stayed? Nope, but I'll take a gorgeous beach over a fancy kitchen rehab any day. The beds were cozy and sound of the waves at night was a perfect lullaby. Also, we barely used the AC b/c the ocean breeze was so nice. All told, this was absolutely perfect for our Maui stay and we would definitely rent it again. The whole family had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this unit.

I was surprised how well stocked the kitchen was - it even had a blender for my smoothies in the mornings. The location to the beach and to all the shopping within walking distance was just amazing. I would stay here again. And we saw the large green sea turtles several days in a row.

This is an awesome spot. Great location. You can walk to two different beaches. The balcony is perfect, looking out on the surf but protected from the wind. The beds were very comfy. The second room accommodated my three kids ages 5,7 and 12 very nicely. It was dark cool and quite. Highly recommend for families.

This condo is in a GREAT location - literally steps to a fabulous beach that is swimable, sunbathable, and great for snorkeling! The service from the property management company was prompt and friendly and we were happy to find adequate beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for our family.

Kamaole Nalu #305 is a wonderful unit in a fantastic condo complex right on the ocean in Kihei. Situated between Kamaole I & II Beaches, it is in a perfect location for beach walks, sunning, and snorkeling. Nalu is right on the ocean, but right across the street from shops, restaurants, and rental shops. Nearly every dinner was eaten on the Lanai watching the whales and waiting for sunsets. We made ample use of the BBQ and they became a nice gathering place for the cooks each night!

We just finished a 9-night stay at Kamaole Nalu. This location can't be beat. Very short walking distance to 3 fantastic beaches and more shops and restaurants than we could try out. I spent months sorting through properties... trying to find the perfect one for our trip. My husband travels quite a bit for work & is very picky. He wanted a great ocean view, a very nice & updated condo, and a beautiful beach right outside... but, since we were also spending several nights at the Hana Maui Resort (paying a ridiculous amount per night), we really wanted our Kihei stay to be reasonably priced. Our family loved this condo! The location was so close to restaurants and shops. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. We ate several meals out there. I loved that it was just steps from the beach. We have stayed at Kamoale Nalu many times and this has been our favorite unit. Every detail was thought through to make our stay comfortable. We appreciated higher end kitchen gadgets that functioned well and really comfy furniture. The air conditioning was heavenly!! The unit was also very clean upon arrival. As usual the beach at Kamoale did not disappoint. The turtle were abundant this year and we saw many on a daily basis. We hate to leave but we know we will back soon to our favorite spot in Maui!

This property is located on a beautiful beach. It was a perfect stay for our family of 6. We had an issue with the air conditioner that was handled quickly, the management company is great. It was nice to have chairs, cooler, umbrella, and boogey boards. We left some beach toys for the next family.

The location of this unit is fantastic and it?s amazing what AC does for relaxation in the afternoons. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing turtles every morning as soon as we walked out, and even on the Lanai. The unit was well furnished (sectional was very comfortable) and well stocked. We had a minor issue with the cleanliness upon check in, but the property management company was very good to work with and they attended to the issue right away.

This property?s value lies in its location. The view just can?t be beat for this price. The air conditioner worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lanai is a wonderful place to have morning coffee, or you can go sit down by the pool. I loved taking those iconic photos of both sunrise and sunsets.
