Ho’olei is a gated residential resort community in Wailea with spacious multi-level townhomes. Its larger floor plans can suit families and groups who want shared living space, private bedrooms, full kitchens, and convenient access to the Wailea resort area.
Ho’olei residences are individually furnished and managed. View, bedding, air conditioning, stairs, lanai setup, garage access, and included services can vary substantially. Use the individual listing for the exact amenities, occupancy limit, and policies attached to a particular townhome.
A spacious Wailea home base
The community has a lagoon-style pool area and fitness facilities for eligible guests. Access rules, staffing, hours, and available services may change. A Vacation Maui rental at Ho’olei should not be assumed to include the same services or privileges as a hotel booking at a neighboring resort.
Ho’olei sits inland from Wailea’s beachfront hotels. Guests can reach beaches, restaurants, golf, and The Shops at Wailea from the broader area, but slopes, road crossings, weather, and distance affect walkability. A rental car may be useful depending on the group and itinerary.
How to compare Ho’olei townhomes
Begin with the bedroom and bathroom layout, then confirm the number of levels and stairs. Multi-level living can provide privacy, but it may not suit every guest. Review the exact view from the lanai, parking arrangements, kitchen equipment, laundry, workspace, and any property-specific access instructions.
Large groups should compare actual beds rather than relying only on maximum occupancy. If elevator access, a bedroom on a particular level, child equipment, or hotel services are important, obtain written confirmation before booking.
