Our stay was great; the location was ideal and within walking distance to the pool. We enjoyed how quiet the area was and the fact that it was monitored 24hrs, it made us feel safe to walk about and even do some night swimming. The unit had everything we needed for out stay. Killer location. Loved the easy access to the restaurants and shops. You're right in the heart of Wailea with easy access to all the beaches. Great views of the ocean from the balcony. Host was very responsive when I reached out with questions. Only hang up was with door access code....they had sent it to me 3 weeks before my visit and I never really looked at the email....thought they would at least do a same day check in follow up with door code. Not a big deal. Ended up calling in and they gave me the door code over the phone. The only real downside was the furnishings are a little dated and worn but I think the price point reflects this. And not really a big deal since the house was just a home base for us to explore Maui, the beaches, restaurants and outdoor activities. Would rent again.

The location of Ekolu 510 is fantastic. We chose this unit for the location and the view. There is very little view - you must be at the kitchen sink, or on the upper deck to see the view. The unit is very well stocked with newer appliances, which was great. There is a smell of stagnant air which we noticed each time we walked in, There are 4 air units - 2 in the living room and one in each bedroom. They keep the unit cool, but they can be a bit loud, so we turned them off at night. We had some ants in the kitchen, and small cock roaches in the master bed & bath. There were pest traps out, but there were still some bugs. There were plenty of towels, beach chairs, and beach towels. The sheets are microfiber and thin. The beds are ok. The sectional and pillows are showing wear. Overall, this is a somewhat dated, well stocked condo in a great location with a partial view. Is it 5 star? No. I'd say 3-3.5 stars, especially given the price.

Wailea Ekolu 510 was a fantastic place to stay in Maui. The location was great, and the space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Even though we had some bad weather during our trip, it still made for an amazing home base and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and the place had everything we needed. I'd definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I stayed at this Wailea condo for a week with two friends, and it was the perfect amount of space for us. The patio views were gorgeous, it was spotless, and the whole place felt incredibly peaceful. We loved being able to walk to the shops, restaurants, and cafés in Wailea Village, and it's also just a 3 minute drive to great beaches and The Shops at Wailea. I would absolutely stay here again.

This unit is in need of maintenance. The floors in kitchen and living area are lamination and are buckled so going barefoot was not comfortable. Carpet on stairs are stained and stayed moist entire time. The Bedroom carpets are worn and pieces are unraveling at all the seams. The kitchen table and balcony table seat only 4 people, so not big enough for my family of 6 to eat meals together, which we did all but 2 nights. The positives: nice pool, coffee shop a 2 minute walk away. Area is upscale for those who like to shop. Great access and lovely beaches close by. The cleaning and Airbnb fees for this unit, is quite high for what we got and compared to every property I have stayed at with my family.

Great condo! Beautiful lanai with ocean view. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a path along the beach. Very spacious with plenty of room. The pools were so enjoyable as well! The downstairs bedrooms have a strong musty smell and an odor from maybe a carpet deodorizer. Had to open up the slider after being gone for any period of time because it was so strong. One friend even had to switch to the other room because of the smell. Just beware if you are sensitive to smells. Overall, wonderful place to stay!

We are not new to Vrbo rentals and on the whole we would place this at the top of that list. Most times our experience has been there is some overselling of the property and in one case the pond in the back turned out to be a swamp. A real live swamp. This facility was just what they advertised. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, well maintained interior and furnishings. They even went an extra mile and left on light so we could find our way around the unit due to our late expected arrival. We will recommend this unit and these agents to people we know who are headed this way.

Spent many hours on the lanai watching the whales and taking in the island breezes with beautiful sunsets! Very close to shops, hotels and golf-morning jogs/walks along the Beach Path. The kitchen is very NICE and very well appointed with new appliances. Family room setup is comfortable. Beds were super comfortable. The one negative is the carpeting in bedrooms!! It needs replacing-maybe tile or LVP. If that's done, this place would be a 5 plus!!

We had an amazing Christmas to New Year 11 night vacation in this home. It was myself, my husband, our 16 year old daughter, two year-old son, and grandpa. Grandpa and our teenager are used to sharing bedrooms but are normally stuck with twin size beds, so having a queen bed for each of them with a nightstand for each bed was a real treat. Management had great communication leading up to and during our stay. The home was squeaky clean and the views from the Lanais were dreamy. We saw whales every single day and had a perfect view of the fireworks at midnight on NYE. We booked the place for the night before we came in so we could have groceries and toddler supplies delivered and the house decorated for the holidays, which worked out perfectly. The location was excellent and we booked cabanas through resort pass a few times we were there at the resorts just down the street. We hired a local nanny for the time we were there and she was able to walk down to the beach with our toddler in the beach wagon we rented whenever we went on excursions without him. There are spacious closets with hangers and ample drawer space which I usually find lacking in most rentals. The only downside I found to the place was that there was only one small dish that was oven safe, however, there are plenty of pots and pans for the stovetop. We don't cook much on vacation but it would make it very difficult to use the oven without baking sheets or oven-safe dishware. Overall, an excellent stay.

This property was a great size and location for my family of 4 and 2 grandparents. With two rooms and 3 bathrooms there was plenty of space for everyone. The location is walking distance to the shops of wailea and to a great coffee shop and restaurants at the village of Wailea. We needed to drive to the beaches, but if we didn't have kids and as much stuff to bring, the beach would be walkable, probably a 15 minute walk. We really enjoyed our trip and would stay at this location again.

We have traveled to Wailea for over 10 Thanksgiving week trips. This was the most disappointing stay given the price we paid. The unit is in a great location and is spacious but did not meet expectations. The listing made it sound like an upscale luxury retreat but it has 1) shabby carpet in the bedrooms and master bath, 2) rock hard queen mattresses that my teens found very uncomfortable, 3) threadbare and dingy bath towels (there were only 3 towels for 4 guests so I had to email management and they told me extras were in a master bathroom drawer instead of the hallway linen closet), 4) multiple insects/ants/spiders, which traumatized my teen daughter (she killed 6 in 30 minutes one night and could not sleep) I also saw them as we killed over 20 during a 7 night stay, including 1 that snuck into my daughter's suitcase) and 5) limited kitchen gear (e.g., no potholders or baking pans for the oven). Overall, I would give 2.5 stars but rounded up.

The location absolutely cannot be beat, the views are stunning, very close to shopping, amazing restaurants, and gorgeous beaches. We, unfortunately, arrived the day of the Maui fires and our trip had to be cut short. Vacation Maui was very accommodating regarding our shortened stay, and helped us to rearrange our plans. They were very attentive with the issues we had while we were there and if the updates are made to the unit we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We have stayed on this property twice now (different units) and it is a great location. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. It's a very short walk to the shops and restaurants, snorkel bobs, coffeeshop, etc. The condo is very spacious for a group of 6 people. Only one minor inconvenience: there is a split unit AC and on the upstairs lanai is a large fan that kicks on and produces a lot of heat if someone is running the AC inside. It made it difficult if some of the party wanted to hang out on the porch while others wanted to be inside with the AC running. We loved our stay, and would recommend.

This was our second stay in this unit. It is comfortable, spacious and has a great sunset view from the lanai. The kitchen and A/C are both recently updated, and everything worked well for us. The unit has everything you need for a week at the beach, including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. We were completely satisfied! Everything, and I mean everything in South Maui is easily accessed from this unit. Ulua and Wailea Beaches are within walking distance; the Shops of Wailea are even closer. Piilani Highway and S. Kihei road can be reached within 5 minutes. The Wailea Gateway center just up the hill has plenty of good dining. Even the Kihei boat ramp is only 5 minutes away by car. This is a fantastic unit for a family or 2 couples who want a comfortable home base and easy travel to activities!

I was very uncomfortable staying in this unit it's in need of d ep cleaning and maintenance such as painting , flooring and remove carpets . The vaccine did not work well at all, it was not stocked with kitchen equipment sufficiently and lacked cleaning supplies which I purchased and left behind many useful items to clean and organize kitchen supplies. I would not stay in this unit again . Master bed was comfortable thankfully. The amount that Canadians pay to come to this resort better amenities and services should be offered for the prices.

This is an amazing town house in Wailea. It is close to everything you want to do. The beach is 5min away. You can watch the amazing sunsets from the balcony. The community area is well maintained. We even grilled out some fresh Ahi on the grill which was spotless. Highly recommend it!

The kitchen appliances were top notch and a pleasure to work. Vacation-Maui replaced coffee maker upon our arrival. This is on the owner and not vacation-Maui: . TV and remote instructions need to be updated . Towels need to be replaced. Many contain bleach stains . Kitchen dishes are well-worn . Our stay here was incredible! The views made every morning magical with the linai, the dining room, and just hanging out in the living room. The kitchen was stocked well to make a few meals, we just needed the ingredients. My kiddo was also excited about night swims at the complex pool. You are also in walking distance to the mall, resort restaurants, and the beach. We appreciated that we were in driving distance to day trips around the island. It was perfect for our family of 4 that included teens! Recommendations: - book beach side meals before sunset to make sure you get to see the sun go down, or to take a walk at the beach while the sun is going down! - KAPA was great for that, but try to get a table by the pool - Day trip: Road to Hana was fun, but beware that there are not many places to park so we ended up missing out on a few things like Twin Falls. Garden of Eden was pricy but had beautiful view of waterfalls. This is the only place we were bitten by mosquitoes! - Lahaina at the West was a great place to shop, walk around, and get that “Hawaiian” feel - A great place for souvenirs was The Plantation for food gifts. Don't buy your pineapple there though-it's double the price then at regular stores - Longs is also a great place for cheaper souvenirs and they had sales on all the chocolates! - bring the house beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels wherever you go! You never know what beach you'll end up at! The downstairs master bedroom had a funky smell, but this place was such a great stay! We truly recommend it!

Beautiful home stocked with all the basic amenities. A little far from the beach but within walking distance. The location is in one of the best areas of Maui. Shops, restaurants and convenience stores were very conveniently located.
The checkin process and communication with the property manager could not have been better.

The kitchen was equipped with all the appliances and pans needed to cook dinner which was so great. Also, they had snorkel gear, chairs, sand toys, all the goodies for a fabulous beach day. The view from the lanai was fabulous and made for perfect breakfasts outside each day. Not to mention location couldn't be more perfect right behind a shopping center and a couple min from the mall and beach. The community pool was not the best and there is no hot tub but other than that I highly recommend it!

Amazing place! Great location, right in the center of Wailea? can easily walk to shops at wailea and other restaurants! Clean place with lots of stuff for the beach: towels, chairs, boogie board, umbrellas. Even some pool toys! Washer and dryer were great, especially with kids! Would highly Recommend and would stay here again!

My group of girlfriends really enjoyed staying here. The bedrooms were downstairs, while all the living spaces were upstairs, which allowed for a comfortable separation for the people who woke up earlier and wanted to work or chat. We also loved the welcome package and beautiful patios. Highly recommend

We stayed at this property through Christmas and New Years. It was very well equipped and stocked, and the AC in each bedroom and on the main level were excellent to take the edge off the heat.
Parking was great, right next to the door. Lots of great shops and coffee etc nearby. Really nothing negative to say. One minor issue with a door knob came up and property manager had it fixed (replaced) within a couple of hours. Couldn?t ask for more. Would definitely stay here again.

One word: AMAZING. The location is great, close to the stores, 10 min walking to the beach. The surrounding terrain has beautiful tropical gardens. The terrace has a great ocean view and we observed the most beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything you need, felt like home. The host was very responsive. We are definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful time!! The condo was in a lovely location. We loved grilling and eating breakfast with an ocean view on the patio. The beds and pillows were so dreamy and comfortable! Great coffee maker and basic dishes, pots, and pans. The washer and dryer saved us after some messy beach days and hikes! Great beach gear too.

This spacious two bedroom 2.5 bathroom was perfect for our family of five The rooms were big and we loved that the second bedroom had 2 queen beds. We also enjoyed the open kitchen, living room and dinning area. Would definitely recommend this place.

The condo was exactly what our family vacation needed! It was very clean and the upstairs patio was perfect for morning breakfast or sunset wine. All appliances were new and worked perfect!! Location was great to walk to beach and the pool was maintained nicely!! Definitely would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay last week. The place was clean, the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking (we even took advantage of the slow-cooker!), and the view from the lanai was fantastic. It was really helpful that the place even had plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas to bring to the beach. The only downside was that the pool was closed for repairs while we were there, but the walk up the hill to the other pool wasn't too far! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

This property fit many criterias that we were looking for when looking for a place to stay. The location of this property was prime - it was close to the wedding that we were attending in Wailea, but also close enough to Kihei for daily activities. Also, we were a small group of 4 people but wanted 3 beds for comfort purposes and although rare, we were happy we found this place. In addition, communication with the property managers was super easy as they were always responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

This property was just OK.
I initially noticed the quick "clean" this house gets every time, there was a dead fly & dust near a fake flower plant in the bathroom, the washer was moist and full of mold stains, and the carpets smelt like old smelly socks (probably need to be cleaned once in a while).
There are few things I'd also point out that we had issues with and didn't really love.
1) It isn't super apparent on the listing that the bedrooms are all down stairs, it was a LOT for us with an father in la

We had a great time at this property. It accommodated our party wonderfully. The location was excellent, within walking distance of various shops and beaches. The property had an outstanding view. The home came with all of the necessary items that we needed like beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, a washer and dryer. I highly recommend.

The bedrooms downstairs are nice and both have full bathrooms. There are beach towels and lots of chairs and an umbrella and a couple of boogie boards. The pool is nearby and very nice. Kitchen is well equiped- we made pina coladas in the blender and cooked a couple of dinners and many lunch/breakfasts there- it's nice to sit out on the upper deck where you can see the ocean!

The view of the ocean from the patio is so beautiful! We loved the location which was close to Kihei but quiet and not right in the hustle and bustle. The best beaches on Maui are so close, as well as an awesome little coffee shop right down the path, great restaurants in walking distance and fantastic shopping! This location was excellent. Beautiful views and an overall amazing stay. Location to the beach is perfect. Less than 3 minutes by car to the closet beach and no more than 10 minutes to any of 4 distinct beaches.
The community was clean and always felt safe.
This was our first AirBNB and we would easily stay here again.
Beach towels, bogie boards, beach chairs, etc are all included.
Air conditioning is well placed to ensure each room has individual control.

Condo is in a great location in Wailea, just above the resorts. Spacious for four adults, convenient gas grill on the lanai and a very well appointed unit.

This condo is beautifully decorated and spacious. The ocean view is amazing, and the location is outstanding as it is close to great shopping, restaurants, and beaches. We stayed in January 2019 with 5 people. This townhouse is spacious and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen and baths are nicely remodeled, and there are ceiling fans and air conditioning to keep things cool. The beach towels, chairs, coolers and boogie boards are among nice homey amenities! The whole process and stay were wonderful. I hope to be a repeat visitor!

This is a great unit. We've stayed many times at the Ekolu and this was our first time in a 2-story unit. It was great because there were no neighbors to wake you up “ (which is an issue with the time change and people waking up around 3 to 5 am). Loved the upstairs decor but wish they'd get rid of the carpet downstairs. A lovely unit overall but we did have to go buy things that we are used to being better stocked at condos, I.e., laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, cooking spray, and garlic salt and pepper. Overall, a very nice unit!!
