Close to beach however bunch of homeless people hangout just outside the parking area (church across street appears to attract them). The place is walkable to beach and sunset views. Walkable to Nalu for breakfast and Akamai coffee. Close to resorts for Resort Pass or dining opportunities and central to Kihei and Wailea. Would probably stay here again, clean towels, clean space. A/C works in family room area but bedroom sleeps warmer even with the fan on. TV easy to use. Pool area is nice!! Plenty of awesome restaurants nearby and easy highway access. Communication with property manager was perfecto!

We could not have picked a better unit. The location was amazing. Walking distance to the pool, beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Our lanai was the most pleasant in the entire condominium. Our garden views were amazing. We loved the outdoor furniture, the shade screen that we were able to use in the early morning as the sun was rising. Maui Vacations thought of everything, with the hose by the lanai to rinse off the sand from your feet to the beach chairs, the beach towels, cooler and the umbrella. They have laundry available on the premises, but unfortunately our washer in “Unit B” was not working - we reached out to Maui Vacations, got a quick response back, and they were able to give us a key to the adjacent unit. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans and dishes that you need to make meals at home, but you may want to bring some of your own spices. Convienently, the grocery store is adjacent to the condominiums. They also have a great pool, hot tub and outside grills.

Very nice unit with a balcony facing the inner courtyard. The unit was very clean and spacious with a huge TV. The location is good, just by a very long beach on which you can see turtles (to the north) almost every morning and watch beautiful sunsets at night. There is a grocery store, with a water refill station, located behind the parking lot, +-3 min walk. The pool and hot tub are very nice and well kept. We used the two BBQ by the pool every second night which was handy. The only negative point, if I have to find one, would be the old frying pans with peeling Teflon...a no-go if you are healthy conscious. We did have a issue with the mattress of the sofa bed, which was out of the host's control and it was ''resolved'' in a somewhat timely matter. All in all we really liked the place and were happy of our stay. I recommend the place. We traveled as a family of four with two kids, 8 and 10 years of age.

The apartment looks exactly as pictured. The lanai is such a nice touch. It's in a very cute complex very close to ocean access (not a swimmable beach, but a small pretty beach). They had lots of beach supplies that were very useful! They had beach mats, beach towels, lawn chairs, etc. We saw 2 cockroaches in the condo unfortunately, but I think this is common on the island. The complex was nice but Kihei itself is not as manicured or as upscale as nearby Wailea. Close to many good coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Only flaw was that there were ants on the stovetop when we arrived and during our stay, we would see ants moving up and down the stove top. We never used the stove top during our stay. Other than that, perfect accommodation.

Great place for a family getaway. Steps from beach access. Facilities included for washing feet. Laundry was easy to access. $1.25 for wash and $1.24 for dry. Unit was well stocked with all supplies. Kitchen had a lot of required utensils and there were plenty of dishwasher, laundry detergent, garbage bags, and towels. Starter shampoo and soap provided, but purchase your own for longer stays.

We LOVED this place. The condo was clean and stylish. The kitchen had all the amenities that one would need. I appreciated the extras: spices, sandwich bags, foil. Things like this are so helpful. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs were appreciated and well used. The garden view from the lanai was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and met some really nice people, some who were guests and others, residents. Kihei Garden Estates is quiet and centrally located to restaurants and shopping. We loved the short walk to Kalama Park and the Triangle. Vacation-Maui was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Loved everything about this place. The location was perfectly nestled in between the beach and a business district of Kihei. Walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants, coffee house, Maui Pie, Nalu's, Diamonds and many more. Keep your drinks cool and snacks ready at the condo while at the beach, only a 2 minute walk away. Everything you would need to cook plus more! (ziplock bags, coffee filters, ice packs...) Beach chairs where amazing. The only drawback was that some of the furniture (outdoor and indoor) was worn (the patio chairs wicker was peeling, the coffee table was scratch up, the pillows on the couch smelt funny) but we didn't care as everything else was great! The shower rail fell and the manager came and replaced it the following day... great service! We will be back! ♥

Our family enjoyed our recent stay here. It's literally across from the beach where we walked each morning and evening. Quick walk to the grocery store and some shops and eateries also. We enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler that was provided and the well stocked kitchen. The grounds were beautiful and my kids loved the pool too. Easy street parking right outside the condo main doors was a bonus too.

The property was clean and very accurately described in the listing. I was there with my husband and our teenage daughter. The garden area on the property were well maintained and so peaceful to sit out back for in the afternoons/early evenings. The pool and hot tub were just steps away and often times we were the only ones there. Other times, we enjoyed chatting with the other guests and locals. The beach was just steps away in other direction and it was a great spot for seeing the sea turtles at sunrise and sunset. We loved having the folding chairs and umbrella provided, as well as the cooler and ice packs. So helpful to have those and not have to bring them from home.

We stayed here for over a week and everything was perfect. The home was very clean and most of the locals were very nice (just please respect their values and beliefs of their beautiful island). The air conditioner was perfect the whole time and it kept everything cool for those wondering if one ac could keep up. The fold out couch was perfect for our two boys and didn't take up a lot of space in the living room area. We also absolutely loved Wally who was the property manager or possibly held a different title, but he was great! The property is very well taken care of and is super close to the beach! Try to stay more south on the beach where it isn't as rocky for the kiddos. We even found sea turtles a little ways North at night.

The accommodation was awesome! Newly renovated, very large and everything you need for a relaxing stay on Maui -> a fully equipped apartment. The location was very good in our opinion: beach and supermarket within walking distance, some restaurants in the area and Kihei as a starting point for day trips very well located. We particularly liked the fact that the host provides enough hand or beach towels as well as beach chairs and a parasol. Parking was always possible without any problems on the street or at the parking lot of the complex. Communication via e-mail was also very easy and fast. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Kihei Gardens. the complex is very quiet and the residents were very kind. one of the residents even let my kids help pick fresh mangos, right off the tree in the courtyard! they were delicious! the beach was a short walk away - so close that we even walked barefoot for sunset each night. we rented paddle boards and saw turtles right off the shore. we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. a great central location in Kihei and we'll definitely stay here again.

Especially we liked Kalama park where we spent time with our toddler on a playground and observed ocean view with sunset. Apartment full of all necessary amenities, including beach gear. Please, keep in mind that apartments on Maui don't include washer and dryer, you need to visit shared laundry room which is very close. Most important thing that beach just around the corner.

This was a very pleasant stay! A nice location that is a very short walk to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, and shave ice. Laundry room with coin-op machines is steps outside of the unit. The wall unit AC does a good job of cooling down the main area (living room/kitchen) but it doesn't quite reach the bedroom, which can get pretty warm (my husband opted to sleep on the pull out bed in the living room). Speaking of the pull out bed, he says it was quite comfortable.

We made good use of the beach chairs and umbrella and loved the quick 30 second walk to the beach for the sunset! The pool and hot tub on the property are so nice and a great addition! We loved our stay at vacation Maui. It had everything we needed and more. The condo was super clean and the grounds around it are beautiful and so well maintained. I love how close we were to the beach allowing us to capture magnificent sunsets. Great restaurants, coffee shops,grocery stores all within walking distance making it a perfect location. Our host gave clear instructions making checkin very easy. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Had a great stay here. It's a really sizeable space for two travelers. There were plenty of towels for our use, which came in handy considering we went to the beach every day! All of the essentials were there in terms of dishware, and they even had a bidet! Super centrally located to N. Kihei / S. Kihei street. Across the street from Times supermarket and a lovely stretch of beach that was never packed (we went at different times every day to take full advantage - even saw a sea turtle on the far right

We loved staying here! One of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had. The place is very clean and easy to keep clean despite being less than a block from the beach. The apartment and complex were very peaceful and the pool and hot tub were excellent perks. Parking was easy, and the amenities were on point. The lanai was lovely for sipping tea and reading in the morning, and there were enough kitchen utensils and supplies to cook ragu. We really loved our stay and would recommend this place to all!

What's there not to love? We were awed by the stylish decor. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The food options nearby were also amazing, our favourite was Nutcharee's Thai. Maui was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii, and staying at this apartment was the icing on the cake.

Kevin?s apartment was everything we could hoped for. The location was amazing, two minutes from the beach and grocery store. The unit was comfortable and sparkling clean. Lastly the unit provided beach chairs, towels, body board, cooler, and beach umbrella which was amazing for our trips to the beach. When we come back to Maui Kevin?s place is the first accommodation we will check.

This Airbnb is beautifully decorated and in great condition. It?s on the ground floor in a great location with access to the beach, pools and plenty of restaurants. We were perfectly fine without a car. The only issue is there are very tiny ants in the kitchen and bathroom. If they could resolve this issue the place would be perfect.

Stay here!!! We stayed here the week of not only my sister's wedding but the week that covid took over our lives. Even with our flight change and uncertainty for our plans, Kevin (and Todd!) was accommodating and very responsive. Not to mention, the condo was beautifully decorated, right next to the beach, restaurants and shops (and Akamai coffee!!) Great location! Near a lot of great beaches, restaurants and a grocery store for anything you may need. Also, good location for anything else you may want to get to on the island. Air conditioner is located in the living room so the bedroom can be a little bit warmer but still comfortable. There is a washer and dryer available in a shared separate room from the unit. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if we come back to Maui.

Great experience. The unit is nicely decorated and equipped. The complex is beautifully landscaped and the neighbors were quiet. The location was terrific. We could walk to the beach and there was a grocery store around the corner. Check in and check out were easy. We would definitely stay there again and tell our friends about it.

The condo is very nice and location was very convenient! We were very close to everything: grocery stores, coffee shops, any breakfast lunch and dinner were 5 mins away, parks, beaches. We had a great time with our toddler!

Kevin and his property manager Todd were very accommodating. Todd was responsive and helpful. When an island emergency occurred, Todd made sure we were safe and offered excellent advice on how to proceed. The condo is beautifully maintained and offered everything we needed for a trip including beach time and hiking. I would absolutely book another stay with Vacation Maui.

Wow! We loved staying at this spot in Maui. It had everything we needed and more (the closet full of helpful goodies like a cooler, beach chairs, and towels were especially appreciated!). The complex is well situated in a great part of Maui. Other perks include access to laundry, outdoor shower to wash feet after returning from the beach, a nice outdoor patio, and plenty of parking. And how has no one mentioned the Japanese toilet?! Overall a great stay, would return.

The apartment is gorgeous. The kitchen is well equipped and there is anything you?d need for your stay. The location is very good, close to grocery stores and just a short walk across the street to the beach.

Nice space in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and shops, but far enough away that it's still quiet. 5 minute drive into the heart of Kihei. Cheap decor, definitely nothing fancy, but who cares when you're in Maui. Air conditioning was great.
