We are a family of four and have been to Maui numerous times in the past. I like the location as it is in the south part of Kihei, which is close to Wailea where we visit lots of times. The condo is set back from S. Kihei Rd., which makes it a little bit quieter. It will depend on your neighbors, especially above to determine if you hear them or not. We didn't have any neighbours above us that were noisy for the first six days of our trip, but then there was a little bit of noise on the last day from our neighbors, which was minimal but noticeable. It was a good unit. We were very happyno complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi! The location is perfect to enjoy multiple beaches , restaurants and shops! The central location allows for easy access to reach the rest of the island! The property is always clean with friendly staff! The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean! The property host was outstanding and their communication was excellent! Check in and out was seamless! We always book a water view condo but we really enjoyed the lanai and view we had! It felt like more space on the ground level and no elevators! We stayed here for about a week! Condo was clean and we had more than enough space to feel cozy. I liked that there was more than enough toiletries provided to last us the week (detergent, soap, toilet paper). It was one less thing we had to buy. The space is well maintained and convenient to a lot of things in Kihei! You can walk to the beach access in front of you which we found rough on both days. We drove to Wailea (less than 8 mins) and enjoyed their beach access (free parking & calmer beach). The only downside to our stay it was Memorial Day weekend so there was after hour noise for a couple of days around (1-3am) but it stopped after. Overall, I enjoyed this place and would stay again.

We enjoyed our week long stay here. It is a nice condo, quiet and clean, with lots of beach supplies provided. Having 4 beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler were especially appreciated. My kids found the mattress on sleeper sofa to be better than most pullouts. Although the complex itself is right across the street from beach, this unit is in the very last building (D) at the back so we found the walk to beach to be 5 minutes or so. It would help greatly and shorten the distance if there was a keyed entry for sliding door via patio (ground level) so you could leave from there rather than having to go out hallway door and up a flight of stairs (elevator is available too) at backside of building where the parking lot is. Well landscaped grounds were beautiful to walk through and location in Kihei is very convenient/central to everything Maui has to offer. Lots of good places to eat nearby condo, both within walking distance and a short drive down main road. Overall quite satisfied with our stay but just note this ground level unit requires use of stairs or elevator whenever needing to lock the place up for your daily adventures.

We enjoyed our two week stay at this property in South Kihei. The location was situated on a lovely property with access to two pools, beautiful manicured grounds, and so close to three beautiful beaches. The unit was on the ground floor with a lovely patio that looked out over the lawn and gardens and it was very close to one pool with barbecues. The unit was equipped with all we needed for trips to the beach; coolers, umbrella, boogie boards, beach chairs, pool noodles, beach towels and more. The unit had two A/C units which really helped keep the unit cool as the temperatures when we visited were in the mid 90s F. The unit also had a washer and dryer which came in very handy during our stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay smooth when cooking. The Property Manager for the unit was extremely responsive and very helpful.

Host was very responsive and helpful. Though the bathroom smell was off putting as it seem to be sucking in sewage smell from above if you turn on the fan. Didn't realize where the smell was coming from until our last day which was regrettable. Otherwise we had a great time here.

Unit is In good shape. Nothing fancy but certainly livable. Reasonably clean but carpets could use a wash. Bedroom is not air conditioned so can be a bit stuffy. Noise travels in this building so hope for good neighbours (and be one too:)) Pool close by with good BBQs. Beach towel, cooler, chairs and toys in unit. Manager very responsive to questions. We had a couple of minor issues that he dealt with quickly. He was also working on getting the safe fixed but didn?t it happen during our stay.

Great stay at Kihei Akahi! Kevin's place was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a 12 night stay was in this condo, we couldn't find bbq utensils for the pool side grill but not a big deal. Being on the ground floor 50 feet from the pool was very nice and 2-3 minutes by foot was Kam 2 beach a great beach for the family. The condo was pleasant and quiet. The beach across the street is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The keypad entry makes it easy to come and go. There were some downsides, but none deal breakers. The main problem was many welts over my body from bed mites. This is not uncommon in Maui?I've found them in other condos. We were very impressed with the property location and the condo. The condo was large, spacious and came with everything we needed. It was nice to have chairs, towels, and items to bring to the beach. The walk to the beach is very short and it was our favorite beach out of all of the beaches we went to. Clean, quiet and well equipped with beach gear, chairs cooler and boogie boards. Nice layout with the bedroom in the back so it stayed cool. Bed was comfy, bathroom was nice and new. Loved being on the ground floor, you can walk right out to the pool which was the cleanest pool I have ever been in. The kitchen had everything we needed. And the location was excellent. Stores, snorkel rentals and a super nice beach all at the end of the driveway. I would definitely book this one again.

Gorgeous, large unit, walk out to patio and grass for stretching/morning coffee and listen to the birds! Kihei Akahi has gorgeous gardens, and units have great layouts. Our kids were on the pullout and they were miles away from the bedroom. Beautiful kitchen - voted 'best decorated' and 'best kitchen' among the 5 other families we knew that booked also in Kihei. Kevin's place was in the perfect location. Directly across from the beach with chairs and beach towels provided in the unit. Walking distance from some amazing restaurants and little shops. Highly recommend. Mahalo!

I space is great, and the location is amazing. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that might be needed including spices and cooking oil.
During our time there, we had an issue with the ceiling fan in the bedroom not working. We emailed and the fan was replaced the very next day! We definitely appreciated the speediness in addressing the issue.
One thing I would suggest to those who might want to rent a movie or watch something other than the shows provided by cable, bring an Amazon Firestick or

Kevin?s place was an adorable space with everything you can think of available . The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of extra sheets, blankets , towels , and necessities. There were coolers , beach chairs . available for use . This was extremely helpful for the longer trips to the beach / waterfalls. Todd was also a huge help with advice and anything I needed while staying here . The beach is close and plenty of restaurants within walking distance . We will definitely stay here again if we come back . T

Unit is not beachfront however very easy and convenient to walk to beach and to all shops and restaurants. They were very accommodating. Unit only only has one bathroom but we were able to make it work and enjoyed our stay. Oh also they have beach chairs, beach towels, and more which makes beach time more enjoyable
