I highly recommend this unit. The host was friendly, flexible, responsive and great to deal with. The unit was well appointed with modern appliances, excellent air conditioning, and had two washrooms which was handy for two people and suitable for four. The kitchen was well equipped to make any kind of meal and a great coffee maker where you could make brewed coffee or a single serve. The lanai was great to watch the sunset and ocean and unit was spacious with 2 televisions. The resort in which the unit is situated is safe, has plenty of amenities and close to Wailea, beaches, and restaurants in Kihei and across the park where people enjoy the sunset. There is reserved parking at the premises and near the unit which is on the third floor. It is a family friendly place with active pool area that is cleaned daily.

This was the perfect unit for our family vacation. The unit itself had all the amenities we needed, especially the second shower for getting everyone cleaned up quickly. The view was beautiful, perhaps one of the best on the property, overlooking the pristine grounds, pool, and ocean. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, pool and spa, and the easy access to the beach. This is the second time we have stayed at the Kamaole Sands. The unit was perfect for my husband and I. Well equipped with beach chairs and an umbrella, and a full stocked kitchen, although it could use a few more piece of cutlery. The management company was easy to reach when we lost the wifi and quick to send someone over to rectify the problem. We would definitely stay at the condo again.

We had the best time and stay here! The condo was spotless and communication was so easy. The view from the Lanai was amazing!! The beach towels and chairs were perfect for us to be comfortable at the beach. We enjoyed the pool each afternoon and loved all the activities (hula dancers one afternoon, turtle talk in the morning). There is a sweet kitty on the property who also met us at the pool each afternoon which we loved!! There are some BBQ areas we didn't utilize this trip but would in the future in a larger group. The kitchen is adequately stocked and included coffee, filters, peanut butter and some spices. We cooked breakfast a few morning and felt at home doing so. This was an excellent location in order to check out the South side beaches, Haleakala and road to Hana. We hope to stay here again in the future as we truly felt like we were in a home away from home!

Kamaole Sands is located conveniently a street across a beautiful beach for swimming and within a 10 to 15 minute walk from restaurants and retail. The unit was spacious for our family of four and included all the necessary supplies and tools for comfortable living. The property itself seems a bit dated but grounds are very well kept. The downfalls included our checkin process as owner does not allow early checkin. We arrived early at airport on a long flight and attempted to check in at 1:00pm. but unit code was not activated until 4:00pm.; even though condo was ready to be used. Too many rules at the pool with a security at all times: no alcoholic beverages, no speakers, no balls, no blowups, no jumping. Master bedroom has a a manual portable ac unit which turns on and off all night. It is EXTREMELY DISRUPTIVE if you are a light sleeper but it keeps you cool.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this rental. The rental was clean and well stocked with towels. There were not many spices or cooking oils, but that was an easy fix. We ended up extents our trip a couple of days, and the process was very easy. The only thing I would recommend is to have waterproof mattress covers on the beds. One of my boys spilled a cup of water on the pull out mattress and it was a bummer that the mattress got wet.

This condo is in the perfect spot on the property- view of the ocean and the pool. The beach is right across the street and the condo has chairs, coolers and an umbrella for use. We saw 4 sea turtles while we were just standing in shallow water at the beach! Somewhat disappointed in the air conditioning system. Stand-up in bedroom is loud. We had to have the main area airconditioner have maintenance come and fix it. The unit was in transition between new owners and several times we attempted to let the new owners do their final, but was never a good time for them. Kind of an irritation, but overall we had a fabulous time and would definitely return to stay at Kameole Sands!

Todd was a lifesaver. Our other host canceled on us the day we arrived and so we were scrambling for a place to stay. He responded immediately and was extremely helpful from beginning to end. There was a small problem with the TV, but they worked diligently to address that. The place was clean, had a view of the ocean (sunsets) and pool. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach through the beautiful grounds. Feels very safe! We highly recommend this stay!

This apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We didn?t have to bring anything but our clothes and groceries. Best of all, the location is perfect. Close to both Wailea and Kihei, we had access to a wide variety of beaches, trails, and amenities. The staff at Kamaole Sands are very friendly and always available, the grounds are beautiful and safe. We stayed here after spending a week at a resort in Ka?anapali and honestly enjoyed it more.

The location of this unit can?t be beat! It?s right across the street from Kamaole Beach III and a short walk to stores and food. The pool looked great and the staff did fun things like live music and free Mai Tais although we were too busy eating and beaching to take part :) The unit has laundry, which is extremely helpful mid-vacation, and it was very clean. My friend and I stayed 6 nights at Kevin?s place and we had a wonderful time. The resort is great and very close to the beach. The place was very clean and we had an amazing view of the resort and the sunset. The closest shops are a fifteen minutes walk.
The resort also offers a concierge to help you book your trips.
We really recommend staying at Kevin?s place.

Kamaole Sands is one of my favorite properties to stay at while in Maui. This particular unit was updated nicely, very clean and had a lovely view. Todd was great with communicating and was so nice and let us check in early! Would definitely recommend this unit.

What a wonderful place to call home for 8 days!! So clean and wonderful location. Working with Todd was amazing! We are already planning our next trip back to Maui next October! Would highly recommend staying at this unit. So close to everything and has so many hidden beaches and treasures! I cannot say anything bad about this unit!! 10 stars hands down!!

The new owner carried on the tradition of the previous owner of offering a clean, well equipped condo. Property mgt was very accessible. Only suggestion is to add a dining room table. Condo has a beautiful ocean view from spacious lanai.

Overall great stay at Kamaole Sands. The property is well kept and the unit worked out great. Has all the amenities you?d need including full kitchen, two full bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a wonderful view from the lanai. There was air conditioning in the main living and bedroom which was a must and well appreciated.
Pool area got crowded at certain times but was easy enough to find a seat most days. The Wednesday Mai Tai day and entertainment was a nice touch.
